Romney is a big spender

  Romney has made a very hawkish speech about spending more or military and expanding the navy.   We spend as much as the rest of the world combined and need to shrink this substantially.  To advocate spending even more, when we spend many times what the 2nd largest military spends, is just irrational.  Here is a piece on Romney's speech: click here.     He wants to expand naval ship production more than 50% from 9 ships per year to 15.  An example of how silly this is: In the world there are 23 carriers.  We have 11 of them but ours are all 2-4 times bigger than all but a couple.  UK has 1.  France has 1.  Russia has 1.  Click here for a listing of them on wiki.   It's just indefensible.
